Sanmangala's story, which begins in the coastal city of Mangalore and leads to her success as a Technology leader, is an inspiring one. Born in 1976 to Subrahmanya Bhat Avalamutt and Kaveri P, both Teachers, she was taught the importance of discipline and dedication from a young age.

After completing her education at Canara College, Mangalore and NMAMIT Nitte, Sanmangala joined the Tech industry, with stints at Kshema Technologies, Infosys and Mphasis. But it was in 2007 that her entrepreneurial spirit truly took flight as she co-founded Utthunga Technologies, starting with a team of just four Engineers. Today, the company boasts over 800 employees, with a global presence in Europe, USA, Japan, apart from Bangalore.

Key highlights of her career include:

·       Played a key role in scaling a tech startup, transforming it into a global enterprise with a footprint in multiple countries.

·       Certified Scrum Master from Scrum alliance, demonstrating expertise in Agile methodologies.

·       Honored as Women Entrepreneur of the Year -IT in 2011 by STPI & Department of IT-BT Govt of Karnataka for her contributions to the IT industry.

·       Has B1 proficiency in German language, enhancing communication and global business opportunities.

·       At present, serving as Senior Vice President – Process Excellence at Utthunga Technologies.

Sanmangala lives in Bangalore with her husband Ramesh Ulaya and she is a proud mother of two kids, Sanjana and Srujan, and continues to inspire those around her with her dedication to both family and career.
